Max Levin, Partner

As a partner and co-founder of M2 Property Group, Y. Max Levin brings more than a decade of experience in the ownership and management of various Real Estate projects and ventures. Max's experience includes the oversight of management and leasing operations of 2,500+apartment units, as well as over 500,000 square feet of commercial office and retail properties. Within this capacity, Max has successfully executed a number of large scale turnaround projects. His keen attention to detail and strategic business planning has led Max to assembling and leading outstanding teams of professionals for each new project, thereby achieving a profitable and well-respected track record within the industry.
Michael Klein, Partner
Michael Klein, a Licensed Real Estate Broker, co-founded M2 Property Group after working in the field of Real Estate management, acquisitions and finance since 1999. As a Senior Associate for a leading, national seniors housing lending institution, Michael was responsible for HUD & FNMA loan originations and underwriting for a number of mid-large multifamily and health care property loans. In 2002, Michael joined a local real estate management firm as Property Manager of 250 apartment units located in Chicago and Springfield, IL. As the portfolio grew, so did Michael's responsibilities within the firm and he eventually transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer, leading their acquisitions team as well as overseeing operations of 1,500 apartment units in multiple states.
Today, Michael employs a highly focused approach to M2's operations while nurturing a true team culture. His analytic and managerial skills have been key to the company's success and his leadership and energy remains a driving force behind M2's successful model for growth.
Scott Beals, CAM, CAPS, CPM®, Director of Operations
Scott Beals, a Certified Apartment Manager, Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor and Certified Property Manager®, joined M2 after working with a number of our assets since 2005. Scott has served as Property Manager, Regional Property Manager and Director of Operations for a Midwest based property management firm, focusing on their Indianapolis portfolio of apartments since 1993. Scott oversees all M2 day-to-day property operations and his responsibilities include weekly reporting, vendor and resident relations, employee incentives, and conducting physical inspections of all properties. Scott also communicates daily with each of our managers. Scott's meticulous attention to detail was immediately noted and his work ethic will be especially important as we continue to grow throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Crystal Seldat, Property Manager, TImber Cove Apartments

- Joined Timber Cove as Assistant Property Manager in 2004. Promoted to Property Manager in 2005.
- Currently leads a team of professionals servicing 272 apartment units.
- Responsibilities include oversight of the on-site staff, vendor relations, accounts receivable, and all daily opeartions.
Vicki Knox, Leasing Manager, Timber Cove Apartments

- 10 years of Property Management experience. Has been the leasing Manager for Timber Cove since 2005.
- Oversees the leasing, marketing, and community relations for 272 apartment units.
- Was instrumental in the lease up and stabilization of Timber Cove in 2005/2006.
- Illinois licensed Realtor and Leasing agent. Member of the Decatur Board of Realtors for the past 17 years.
David Turner, Maintenance Supervisor, Timber Cove Apartments

Worked as a General Contractor for several years. Work included painting, electrical, flooring & HVAC. In 2005, acted as the GC for the upgrading of all common areas at Timber Cove, a $250,000 capital project.
Joined Timber Cove in 2007 as Maintenance supervisor.
Currently leads a team of professionals servicing 272 apartment units, located in 17 buildings on 14 acres. Manages all maintenance and repairs for the property.
Certified in HVAC, Structural Pest Control, and as an Illinois Pool Operator.
Melody Schroeder, Property Manager, Woodcrest Apartments
- Worked in Property Management since 1994 prior to joining Woodcrest in 2009
- Currently lead a multi-talented team of professionals servicing 331 apartments located throughout 19 buildings (largest complex in Decatur)
- Oversee the daily functions of the property, including Resident Relations, Customer Service, Maintenance and upkeep as well as Administrative
- Received the Property Manager of the Year award for 2010
Rick Hamilton, Maintenance Supervisor, Woodcrest Apartments

- Over a decade of experience with multi-family property maintenance with a large, national management firm prior to his move to M2.
- Highly experienced in all aspects of maintenance and property improvements, Rick is an invaluable asset in leading renovation projects, preventitive maintenance programs and in-house renovation
